Description

Ella, is a congested town located in Sri Lanka. Ella is pure natural beauty, with its waterfalls, greenery, and hills it is just jaw-dropping. It has views that one hasn’t witnessed before, scenes one hasn't seen before and nature one hasn't felt before. Ella is the perfect place to go to if one wants to refresh the brain. It has many famous places and has been under the attention of tourist for a decent amount of time now.

Mini Adams peak is the closest and easiest hike in Ella. You will get to the entrance in about 15 minutes walk from Ella town. Some calls it Punchi Siri Pada, Small Adams Peak, and Little Adams Peak.

Ella, View Point

It is 1141M in height and from the entrance it takes up to 30-45 minutes for the hike. Views from the summit are incredible. 360 degrees panoramic views with clouds rolling in, is a treat to watch for any traveler. The summit of the mountain has great panoramic views, especially in the morning when you will be hiking. The entire climb up and down will take two hours.

Hike itself is a worthy experience as you walk through lush green tea estates, talking to locals who are plucking and collecting tea leaves, working in the estate. We recommend you go early mornings or late evenings for the best views and it will be less tiring. Difficulty level of the hike is moderate, but make sure you be safe at the summit when trying out poses for the camera while sitting on rocks.

Ella town is a small town among the up county destinations consisted of waterfalls, caves and geographically significant places. One such place is Adams Peak, figured in Pyramid Shape Mountain which stands opposite of the Ella rock. Be aware not to harm the plants, flowers and animals that will meet on your journey up to the mountain.

You could see the people who are plucking and collecting tea leaves, working in their estates. It will take around 35-45 minutes to reach to the top of the mountain on a zig-zag path. Thus it is an ideal place to watch sun rise in the morning. With prodigious views of as far as Ella rock and down to the gap will be gorgeous.

It is a must to say that don’t forget to wake up early in the morning and climb the mountain before it gets hot otherwise you will feel tired. Although take a bottle of water with you. It will be priceless if you could visit the place in the morning when the clouds roll in. Further places like Little Adams Peak deliberates ‘How far Sri Lanka is worth and rich with beautiful natural destinations of Sri Lankan tourism’. It will feel like a neck exercise for the visitors as you have to rotate your body to seek the views outstanding for 360 degrees.

If you could have a cup of tea or something you may feel better on your way back to the hotel or home. Its wise to keep in mind that if you want to take a photograph with the tea plucker working in the tea plantations, they will ask money.
